Training of employees and supervisors is a crucial necessity of every
successful business. Training should not only be held for new
employees. It is fundamental that ongoing training for current employees exist
in order to help them adjust to the rapidly changing job requirements that are a big
demand of the rapidly changing work environment of today. If your company
has a high turnover rate, training new employees will make them much more
productive. Employees will feel better about themselves and their jobs and
stay with the company much longer when frequent training exists. All evidence
indicates that training should take place on a regular basis, should be
thorough, and should continue throughout an employee's career. Although managers
may realize the importance of employee training, they either do not have the
time, do not know how to train, or are uncertain about beginning a training program.
